[Placeholder: Lost Words of the Oak Woodlands]
2024

Eliza Gregory was an artist in residence at Peregrine School for two years, teaching a weekly class to third- through sixth-graders. These two publications—one made with the Eagles class (third and fourth grades) and one made with the Crows class (fifth and sixth grades)—showcase artwork and poetry made through researching native plants, animals and fungi of the Oak Woodlands ecosystem, in homage to Robert Macfarlane and Jackie Morris’s book The Lost Words, and Kate Marianchild's book, Secrets of the Oak Woodlands
