Eliza Gregory was an artist in residence at Peregrine School for two years, teaching a weekly class to third through sixth grade. These memory game cards—made with the Eagles class (third and fourth grades) and the Crows class (fifth and sixth grades)—showcase watercolors of Central Valley birds. Students selected a bird, drew it, and then replicated their own work, resulting in pairs of cards that match but retain slight inconsistencies. Students connect with the birds they have chosen when making the cards, and then again when playing the game.
